Every town, in italy, features a particular segment of human history, and it makes it its own way: a fair, an event, a museum. Vestenanova is famous for the Fossils Museum, whole year open (closed in mondays).

The museum, founded in 1971, presumably introduces fossils from the tertiary period. A wide and interesting harvest with over 500 samples of fossils extracted from the layers and in the lagoon of Bolca (fraction of Vestenanova). This set this museum among the most Eocenic period fossils furnished museums in the world (160 kinds of fishes, 250 kinds of plants, shellfishes, bugs, reptiles and birds).

Almost a cult, for those who love archaeology.
